While I was shopping, they announced that they had an unadvertised special for Applegate Naturals Bacon (no nitrites, no nitrates, gluten-free, uber healthy bacon!). If you headed back to the meat department, they were practically giving packages away for $1.99. These normally go for $6.99 to $7.99 at health food stores! Within minutes, six boxes of bacon were gone. I managed to snag one, as we're not a big bacon family. Fantastic deal! My last trip: Perdue Perfect Portions were announced. They were getting rid of them for $2.99 each (regularly $6.99 each, minimum). I grabbed about six bags, used three $1.50/2 coupons and paid just $13.44 for 30 perfectly portioned breasts of chicken. Insane! I just popped them in the freezer when I got home, and they'll be good for months.
